Wood I Beam Joists

Wood I Beams™ are FiberStrong^® Oriented Strand Board (OSB) webs fitted into high-grade solid sawn lumber or Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) flanges, with lengths up to 60 feet.

• Lighter and easier to handle than ordinary lumber
• Quieter floors, minimal squeaks and stiffer floors
• Increased surface area for attaching sub floor
• Greater spans & loads with wide-flange joists
• Prevents cracks in rigid floor materials with a more level floor system that resists shrinking and twisting
• Can be altered on-site without need for special tools
• Less material shortage delays, because entire system is shipped in one package

Wood I Beam Floor or Roof Systems are available as a complete package, shipped with I-joists, FiberStrong^® Rim Boards, and necessary hardware.
